ATON (A to N) stands for A to Z in Japanese. This Tokyo based brand created by Yasuharu Kuzaki in 2016 focuses on creating elevated, minimalist designs which emphasise personal style over fashion. Yasuharu starts with the most premium fabrics - silks, cottons, and cashmere - and celebrates the original characteristics of the cloth; from his treatment of the fabric and dyeing processes to the execution of clean and timeless cuts. There is a clear attention to detail in every stage of the manufacturing process that really shines in the finished articles.
Aton Travel Nylon Packable Coat in Green has an oversized fit. An inner chest pocket is a feature which doubles as a zipped bag into which the coat can be packed.
ATON have specially developed this nylon taffeta to ensure it is wrinkle resistant, lightweight and highly water repellant. This nylon taffeta material is densely woven from ultra-fine nylon in Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture. Nylon taslan processed yarn with a yarn count finer than a hair is used, and by washing it in the production process, it expresses a texture and bounce like natural fiber. It is an ATON original material that folds up very compactly, making it easy to take along on trips, and is characterised by its lightweight feel and durable strong water repellency.
